Fans love seeing Nathan and Maxie together on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but now actor Ryan Paevey is sharing the screen with a different Maxie in the upcoming Hallmark Channel movie Harvest Love airing Saturday, Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. ET! While he will continue to act opposite Kirsten Storms on GH, Paevey is now getting a chance to star with her temporary fill-in, Jen Lilley, in the romantic film! You can get a first look at the project in this trailer for Hallmark's "Fall Harvest" movie marathon.
Back at the end of July, Paevey and Lilly attended the Hallmark Channel TCA Summer Tour and shared some pics from the photo booth at the event. “Hanging with this firecracker at the Hallmark Channel TCA 2017,” Paevey posted to Instagram. “Then back to work on Harvest Love tomorrow.”
Lilley gushed over the film's director, Christie Will, with whom she previously worked on the Hallmark movie A Dash of Love. The actress also shared a photo of her and Paevey striking a fun pose with their director, declaring: “We make quite the trio!”
“Rockin’ the prom pose with my new leading man Ryan Paevey,” Lilley joked of the pic that they took together in the photo booth and both shared on Instagram. And they sure do make a handsome couple!
Lilley is best known for her stint on DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Theresa Donovan, but GH fans will remember her as a temporary recast for Maxie Jones from 2011-12 during Kirsten Storms’ extended medical leave. But because Paevey didn’t join GH until 2013, he never shared any scenes with Lilley’s version of Maxie. So now we’ll finally get to see if these two actors have any romantic chemistry together on screen! (Although we suspect they will or else they wouldn’t have been cast as the stars of this film!)
Paevey has his own history with the Hallmark Channel. While Lilley starred in A Dash of Love, the hunk was the male lead in the romantic comedy Unleashing Mr. Darcy. Slated to air during Hallmark Channel's "Fall Harvest" programming event, Harvest Love is a romantic comedy where Lilley plays a widowed mother and surgeon who visits her grandfather’s farm in the hopes of reconnecting with her son. Naturally, when she meets the farm’s hunky manager, played by Paevey, romace takes root. So be sure to set your DVR's for this special film now so you don't miss it!
