Let Ryan Paevey get you in the holiday spirit when he stars in the brand new movie, Hope at Christmas, premiering Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 9 p.m. on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! So while GENERAL HOSPITAL fans may still not be over the death of his character, Nathan West, they can all enjoy the handsome actor as a brand new romantic lead!
In the holiday drama, a recently-divorced New Yorker returns to her hometown to sell a house and share memories with her young daughter. "I play Mac, a widower whom she meets in a bookstore," Paevey told Soaps In Depth., "and thinks is a thief because he's pocketing books." Not only is the handsome Mac a teacher, but he also fills in for the town Santa from time to time. Since it's a Hallmark movie, Mac helps Sydney open herself up to life, love, and believing in the spirit of Christmas again. How romantic!
Paevey’s co-star in Hope at Christmas is actress Scottie Thompson, who has starred in THE BLACKLIST, NCIS, and 12 MONKEYS. He revealed that her character, Sydney, has roots "in a place called Hopewell, where my character lives, and she gets out of Dodge to spend some time there." Looks like a beautiful place to spend a childhood... or an adulthood!

In addition to his holiday flick, Paevey has also shot another Hallmark Channel romance, the upcoming BFF Bride with fellow soap alum Kelly Kruger (Mac, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS; ex-Eva, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL). So even though GH fans are missing seeing the actor in Port Charles these days, they’ll still be able to get their fix of the hunk thanks to all his new projects. So be sure to tune in to watch!
