Oscar’s time is running out in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers, and it’s time for some final goodbyes with those he loves. As everyone realizes that there will be no miracle, the tears flow freely as they prepare for the inevitable.
Ever since Oscar learned he had an inoperable brain tumor, he was determined to live whatever life he had left to the best of his ability. And despite a slight reprieve which gave his parents hope that his condition might improve, he is losing his battle with cancer, and has only days left to live. So everyone gathers together at Charlie’s Pub for a final celebration of his life. “I just want you to know how much I love each and every one of you,” he declares to the group… though his eyes are fixed squarely on Josslyn.
News of Oscar’s fate continues to spread beyond the immediate family as Drew shares the news with Franco. “My son’s dying,” he reveals, his voice thick with emotion. Naturally, Franco offers his support to the man he grew up with as a brother. And Kim and Drew try to find comfort with each other as they face the fact that they're going to lose their son. “He’s fighting this with everything he’s got,” she notes to him as they sit together on the stairs. But unfortunately, there’s no way to win this battle.
Although the family continues to pray for a last-minute miracle to save Oscar’s life, the teen lays in his bed, pale and weak. Kim gently strokes his hair as she sits next to him while Drew and Josslyn sit vigil by his bedside. And then Joss gets up and leans over the boy she loves to tearfully declare: “If you can hear me… I love you.”
