In addition to her acting, Bernard was the daughter of Bruno Bernard, a Hollywood photographer famous for his iconic images of stars like Marilyn Monroe. She oversaw the use of his photos as the president of Bernard of Hollywood Publishing, building it into an international brand. She has also authored seven books including the bestseller, Marylin: Intimate Exposures

Bernard is survived by her ex-husband, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and actor Jason Miller (The Exorcist) and their son, Joshua John Miller, as well as her sister, Celeste Bendel. Our thoughts are with her loved ones during this difficult time.
