When actress Katelyn MacMullen made her debut as Willow Tait on GENERAL HOSPITAL back in October of 2018, fans knew there was more to her than meets the eye. And as her secrets have been revealed, it turns out the seemingly demure young woman is in great danger!
Willow was introduced as Aiden's schoolteacher who had a private meeting with Liz and Franco about the little boy, who has been acting withdrawn and having trouble making friends in school. She was next seen at the end of the month when she ran into Harrison Chase in the hospital parking garage on her way to a bereavement group meeting that was also attended by Michael Corinthos.
Since then, Willow has continued to appear in the role of teacher, alerting Liz and Franco to the fact that Aiden was being bullied in school, and then helping Valentin and Lulu deal with the fact that their daughter, Charlotte, was the one doing the bullying. Chase has continued to pursue the beauty, and they began dating. Willow is also the mother of the infant that Brad and Lucas adopted and named Wiley, although she is unaware that her child has died and been replaced with Michael's. So although she made a deal with Julian to keep her distance, Willow is still drawn to Wiley, believing him to be the baby boy she gave up for adoption.
After learning that Shiloh and Dawn of Day were in Port Charles, Willow suddenly tried to resign from her job and move away from town. Seeing how rattled she was after a conversation with Shiloh, Chase asked her to open up and Willow confessed that the cult leader was the father of the baby she'd given up for adoption and she had tried to escape from the group. Also, Willow wasn't even her real name! Although she still wanted to run away, Chase urged her to stay and promised to protect her. But that could prove easier said than done!
Los Angeles native MacMullen appeared as Josie in the TV series SIN CITY SAINTS as well as Anya in the short film, Roofied. She also played Laura Townsend in the sorority house horror film The Row, which also co-starred soap alum Colin Egglesfield (Josh, ALL MY CHILDREN). In addition to her acting, MacMullen was also one of the writers for the videogame Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey.
