GH Donates Toys For Tots!

This week, GENERAL HOSPITAL participated in Disney/ABC’s “Share The Joy” campaign with Toys For Tots by not only including the charity in a scene on-screen, but donating in reality, as well!

In the Thursday, December 18, episode, Rebecca Herbst‘s Elizabeth donated a toy to the Toys For Tots box in the hospital, but behind the scenes, the cast and crew donated toys to the Marine Toys For Tots Foundation. And on Wednesday, December 17, GH executive producer Frank Valentini and the cast presented the toys they’d collected to the marines at the soap’s studio in Los Angeles.

The charity was popular among the cast, especially the younger actors. In fact, Nicolas Bechtel (Spencer) announced that he would take the $112 that he had saved in his piggy bank to help buy presents to donate to Toys For Tots!
