GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Laura Wright Announces Divorce

Sad news for Laura Wright (Carly, GENERAL HOSPITAL), who has announced that she and husband John Wright are divorcing.

“John and I have decided to end our 20 year marriage,” she said in a statement. “We remain committed and dedicated to our two wonderful children and will always be a supportive, loving family of four — we are just doing it differently now!”

In an Instagram post, the actress also revealed that they have actually been separated for over a year now, and have now decided to make it official.

Wright and her husband have two children, 17-year-old Lauren and 15-year-old John. Our thoughts are with the entire family at this difficult time.
