GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Michael Easton Reveals Why He Returned to the Soap!

Michael Easton is having a blast as quirky Dr. Finn, but his decision to come back to GENERAL HOSPITAL to play yet another character took some time.

“This was not something that happened fast; It was months,” he reveals. “Not that I was trying to be difficult, but it took me a long time to wrap my head around the idea.”

Now, he’s thrilled he did — and so are we! In the new issue of Soaps In Depth, Easton opens up about how the GH scribes won him over and reflects on his re-entry and his new character.

“I’ve always liked playing the outsider, the guy who’s not really connected to anybody,” Easton says. “A lot of people like the security of coming in tied to the canvas in some way, but I like trying to carve a place myself. It’s been fun.”
