Is Hayley Erin Leaving GENERAL HOSPITAL?

Ever since she landed a new primetime role, fans have been worried that Hayley Erin is leaving GENERAL HOSPITAL! After the actress scored a primo role on the new PRETTY LITTLE LIARS spinoff THE PERFECTIONISTS, rumors began flying fast and furious that she was leaving GH and the soap was recasting the role of Kiki Jerome. But Erin responded to fans on Twitter wondering if she was staying or going. “I suppose I’ll address this now,” she announced. “I have no plans to leave and hopefully it will all work out.”

Erin joined the cast of GH in 2015, replacing Kristen Alderson in the role of Kiki Jerome. Unfortunately, Kiki’s storyline hit a bit of a lull in late 2017 after her romance with Dillon fizzled out when Robert Palmer Watkins left the soap. But with the young woman’s budding medical career finally taking off and the extremely topical sexual harassment storyline with Dr. Bensch gaining traction, Erin has been seen on screen much more recently. Heck, she’s even said that there could be feelings between Kiki and her mother’s beau, Griffin, which could create even more explosive drama in Port Charles for the character.

Although there haven’t been any details released yet as to who Erin will be playing on PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: THE PERFECTIONISTS, or how big of a role she will have, the IMDb lists her as appearing in all 10 episodes announced so far. Thankfully, this primetime series is going to be on ABC Family, which means it’s under the same Disney/ABC umbrella as GH, which should make it easier for Erin to coordinate schedules and appear on both shows.
