Eddie Alderson Shares a Sweet Birthday Message for Big Sis Kristen Alderson

We’ve watched Eddie Alderson and his sister Kristen Alderson grow up right before our very eyes on ONE LIFE TO LIVE, and today, little brother Eddie sent his big sis very sweet and special wishes on her big day. “Happy Birthday to the best sister I could have ever hoped for,” he shared on Instagram. “Having you look out for me all these years has helped me become the man I am today. Nobody deserves happiness in this world more than you, so here’s to the best year of your life and to a hundred more.”

The siblings portrayed Matthew and Starr on OLTL for many years right up until the soap’s cancellation. Moving on to GENERAL HOSPITAL, Kristen won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work as Kiki Jerome. Alderson, who was nominated for both a Daytime Emmy Award and two Young Artist Awards for his work on OLTL, was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer in 2016 and after successful rounds of chemotherapy, is currently in remission. He recently flew down to Florida and participated in Marco Island’s annual SWFL Soap Fest, a charitable event that raises funds for local children’s charities. Kirsten was also at the event with her brother, having just completed her run starring the Off-Broadway musical, The Marvelous Wonderettes
