Rademacher Heads To HAWAII!

Ingo Rademacher (ex-Jax, GENERAL HOSPITAL) has landed a primetime role! The actor reports on his Twitter page that he’ll be on the set of the CBS drama HAWAII FIVE-0 today, taping scenes for an upcoming episode. “Gonna go to work tomorrow morning,” he tweeted last night. “A little guest role on that awesome show Hawaii50. Looking forward to it.”

Fans of Rademacher’s know that the actor won’t have to travel very far to report to the set. Upon leaving GH this summer, he shared with Soaps In Depth that he and his family were headed to island state, where they own a home. Rademacher won’t be the first GH alum to appear on the cop drama, either. Last year, fellow Aussie Rick Springfield (ex-Noah) guest-starred as a famous, womanizing photographer who turned up dead following a bikini cover shoot for a sports magazine.

UPDATE: According to our friends at TV Line, Rademacher’s episode will air in early 2012, and he’ll be playing the father of a kid being held prisoner on a hijacked school bus… but this distraught dad just may be a bit more involved in the crisis than he initially led McGarrett to believe!
