Sabrina Being Recast?

GENERAL HOSPITAL has released a casting notice looking for a female character “originally from Mexico” who has “come to Port Charles to pursue a career in medicine.” The character is labeled as a major recurring role with the possibility to become contract.

While this does immediately appear to be a dead ringer for Sabrina — and the character is said to begin shooting in late May around the time that Teresa Castillo (Sabrina) goes on maternity leave — a source tells Soaps In Depth that this casting notice is not for Sabrina, but for a new role.
