Some of daytime’s hottest stars will soon have a new home on primetime television! The full cast has been announced for E!’s upcoming DIRTY SOAP docu-drama series: GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Kelly Monaco (Sam), Kirsten Storms (Maxie), ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex), Farah Fath *(ex-Gigi), and DAYS OF OUR LIVES’ *Galen Gering *(Rafe) and *Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe) will be the subjects of the eight hour-long episodes. And the producers behind the series are no stranger to the daytime world, either! ALL MY CHILDREN alums Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley) and Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo) are serving as executive producers under their Milojo Productions!

“The soap industry is at a defining moment and the time is ripe for a series that goes inside this iconic world and explores the unique bond that these actors share,” says E!’s Lisa Berger, President, Entertainment Programming, E! “No one knows the inner-workings of the soap community better than Kelly and Mark, and it is exciting for us to work with them, in addition to some of the reigning kings and queens of soap featured in the series.” Adds Ripa and Consuelos, “We’re very excited to be behind this show for E!, and having met on the soaps we know all too well how much work and dedication it takes.”

Monaco tells Soaps In Depth that the series will definitely offer an insider’s perspective. “It’s really going to give you a glimpse into behind-the-scenes about how we work and what we go through while we’re at work and when we get home. It’s pretty fun. I’m as nervous as hell, though,” she confesses with a laugh. “Our lives will be exposed. So cut me open and let me bleed!”

The series will certainly have built-in drama right off the bat as former BFFs Fath and Storms haven’t spoken in years, and Fath and Lavoisier must decide if it’s time to take their relationship to the next level! DIRTY SOAP will debut Sunday, September 25, at 10 p.m. EST on E!
